Alaverdi Blue

Alaverdi Blue

Our enterprise operates under the brand “Alaverdi Blue”.
Two key associations any Georgian has with the word Alaverdi are the gorgeous Monastery (Cathedral) in Kakheti and Georgian traditional and distinct cuisine. Both associations are valid if you think of the major activities of our enterprise. Inclusion of the word Blue was inspired by the particularly blue shade of Alaverdi sky. People also relate the color blue to symbols of trust, security and permanence.
Blue is the major trademark of our enterprise. This color is  used excessively in the exterior or interior of the building.

Alaverdi Blue Bridge-Innovation and Development, together with women living in the village of Alaverdi (Akhmeta Municipality), has established a social enterprise Alaverdi Blue for the development of sustainable rural tourism, which creates opportunities for economic activity and self-employment for socially vulnerable population. The aim of the social enterprise is to promote the economic empowerment of local socially vulnerable groups through employment and capacity building.
